Sold against all odds…

I don’t usually post these, because, well, selling homes is my job. But this one deserves a mention.

 

Maxine came to us after a year of being on the market with three other agents, feeling drained and frustrated. She’d seen our branding around, heard good things locally, and finally asked, “What are you going to do differently than the others, Asif?”

 

I told her, plain and simple, “I’ll sell your home.” That’s it. She was taken aback—but that’s exactly what she needed to hear.

 

We asked Maxine to step back, cease all marketing with the other agents, and allow us to bring a fresh, strategic approach. We rebranded her home’s marketing, crafted an exceptional video tour, and elevated the marketing to another level. The results? Over 30 viewings and multiple offers compared to the few scattered couple of viewings from the agents before.

 

We found a buyer and secured Maxine’s desired price. But just as things were set, the buyer fell through. Shit happens. It felt like a setback, but I reminded Maxine to trust in Allāh’s plan. And true enough, there was something better on the horizon.

 

Not only did we re-sell, but this time, we secured her £18,000 more. There was so much more to deal with including chains of 5 oither groups and battling with really poor estate agents which we took charge off too, but that’s a story for another day.

 

While performing Tawaaf around the Kaaba in Makkah last week, I got the notification from my trustee lawyer of the completed sale— a little reminder for the unfaithful of the power of faith, resilience, and trust.

 

I’m honoured to have worked with Maxine, and I’m even more grateful for the relationship we’ve built. This is not a transaction, this is for life.
